I have been wanting to learn how to crochet forever!! I have been trying to learn from a book, but I think I am going to take a class at a local yarn store. Bailey likes to help me hold my place in my crochet book. He always does this when I read just to make sure I don't forget to pet him. If anyone is learning how to crochet there are tons of free patterns on line. I found a lot of them on the Lion's Brand yarn website. You just have to register in order to access their free crochet and knitting patterns. I will post some pictures as soon as I crochet something that does not look like a blob!

I am a knitter and it is amazing all that there is online. So many good yarns too.

i struggled at first trying to learn from a book. then I found you tube (especially Teresa) and I have never looked back. Once I got to see what I needed to do and learnt the terms there was no stopping me. My very first project was a teddy bear and my son loves him :-)
