I have always been passionate about designing and making meaningful gifts and keepsakes and was very fortunate to able to start my own business. Lauren Nicole Gifts (name after my niece) was started in 2004 and was a great way for me to have my own business, but still move around as an Army wife. My husband recently retired from the Army and we are now permanently located in Ouray, Colorado

Flowers....for ME?????

I thought I got flowers yesterday, but they were really for my husband. My neighbor sent them because he fixed their car when they were stranded. I wish they wouldn't have done that. There have been too many times that we had to rely on neighbors and it would be nice if we could pay it back even if it is a different neighbor. When my husband was deployed I really counted on the neighbor's a few times.....like when I got a flat tire, or tripped over Bailey and broke my foot, or when my fence blew down in a snow storm while I was on crutches (Bailey loved that one because he was able to escape twice undetected).

Well, I'm sure the flowers were still appreciated. Some people feel the need to show their appreciation. Even if they helped you out, that's just the way they are.

They do look very pretty!
