I have always been passionate about designing and making meaningful gifts and keepsakes and was very fortunate to able to start my own business. Lauren Nicole Gifts (name after my niece) was started in 2004 and was a great way for me to have my own business, but still move around as an Army wife. My husband recently retired from the Army and we are now permanently located in Ouray, Colorado

The Beer Snob

My husband is the biggest beer snob! He only drinks dark stouts and he is really picky about those too. I made him a beer bottle marker because whenever we go to anyone's house he always brings his own bottle of beer with him; forget bringing anything for anyone else, he just brings one bottle in his pocket just in case they are serving crap beer.

I made a bunch of wine bottle tags and wine glass markers for Christmas gifts. I always like to have something around for last minute gifts because I am so thoughtful (Translation: I am losing my mind and I ALWAYS forget to get something for someone, but I am hoping if I have a few extra gifts laying around and a few bottles of wine that I can cover it up!).

I am giving away one custom wine bottle tag and a set of 6 custom wine glass markers (I can put whatever you want on them as long as it fits). I will take entries until midnight on Sunday 8-2-09 and draw a winner on Monday morning. To enter just leave a comment on this post letting me know what you would put on one of the markers or tags.

I would love something political or w/ footbal! anything to get a convo started! with football itd be easy:
bottle marker: auburn
glass markers: war eagle, aubie, samford, magnolia, toomers, jordan hare . etc...

for political: you could do different parties (there are more than dems/reps :) ) and then do something funny for the wine bottle marker!

i love this idea!!! so cute!!!

Mommy's juice--that's too funny, Krystyn.

I think I'd go with a monogram to class up my bottle of beer. Wait--can you make one to fit around a can? {Kidding!}

I also love the idea of football tags since football season is coming up.

could make them generic:

touchdown, tight end (hehe), defense, offense and some other stuff like that :)

I LOVE this idea so much! We're big wine drinkers at our house. I might do something like his, hers, mine, yours... Or maybe the pretty one, the funny one, the loud one, the tall one... :-)

What a great idea. I would probably pick Vino Vixen.

LOVE these! I live in Ky. and would love to use these for Derby, and would use past winners as the tag names! Thanks for entering me!

I love the ones with the inspirational words...love, believe, hope, dream, etc...

I also love the auburn theme idea!!! SO CUTE!!! WAR EAGLE!!!

I would do the words above or even ones with just symbols...a heart, star, square, *, $, ? ...something simple but cute!

some girlfriends and i are planning our own wine tasting party and we might need tags by the end to keep everything straight!

I'd put my monogram on the bottle one and i was thinking words having to do with wine and wineries on the glass tags, but i love the football theme idea too!

"Life is a Cabernet"?

since friends and i always have wine dates to watch reality shows, i'd definitely have the markers saying dufferent catchphrases: "make it work", "i die", "dreadful", etc.

What a cute idea! I think I would go the simple route and just put "Thank You". I would use it as a gift with a bottle of wine for someone that let us stay at their house or something. Maybe they would use it again as a gift, and so on...
