I have always been passionate about designing and making meaningful gifts and keepsakes and was very fortunate to able to start my own business. Lauren Nicole Gifts (name after my niece) was started in 2004 and was a great way for me to have my own business, but still move around as an Army wife. My husband recently retired from the Army and we are now permanently located in Ouray, Colorado

Diet - Day 41

Baking Chocolate is starting to sound really good (it is the only item in the house that remotely looks or tastes like chocolate).

Did you ever try to eat it as a kid? We did. Several times. We thought we found some great candy only to bite into it and then gag!

We have some baking chocolate in our pantry and it makes me feel tortured. Thanks for the warning...

Great memories as a child, I have, tricking a sibling that it was sweet chocolate!! Believe me, I didn't get away with that one!

Oh, we totally feel your pain as someone who has done the baking chocolate in a moment of desperation. But geeze, congratulations on 41 days, that is incredible Miss Lauren! Give yourself a pat on the back, you are earning it every day!

Smiles at you,
tp

Ha! I think that everyone has tried to eat baking chocolate at least once in their lifetimes. I prefer to let it melt with some butter and sugar while I'm making brownies...then, it really DOES taste delish!

41 days? I am so impressed! Mine has been half that much and lately I've delved into the cheating world of m&m's because they were around here this weekend for the kids we had over for the prom. I wish I could say I was forced to eat them to be sociable. You hang in there! You are an inspiration!! :)
