This isn't my favorite memory, but it is the one that I remember the most. When my twin brother and I were 6 years old we decided it would be a good idea to get up at 4:00am and look for all the eggs. We even set the alarm clock and put it under a pillow so that it was just loud enough to wake us up and not our parents. We thought of everything! The plan was to find all the eggs and then remember where they were so that when we did the easter egg hunt the next day we would get most of the eggs and my little sisters wouldn't get very many. Of course, it was all his idea and of course we got caught. The punishment.......we had to sit and watch while my little sisters found ALL of the eggs. We never tried that again!!

My favorite Easter memory is the first Easter I spent away from home. I made a ham, potatoes, and stuffing for my now husband and it was so special because it was just the two of us!

Cute! I remember being about 4 years old and so excited about the Easter bunny coming to visit! I was down for a nap in my parent's room and I know I woke up and saw a big white bunny hopping up the driveway towards our house! When I got up, there were eggs and candy all over the house. My parents to this day swear they didn't hire a bunny, but I am so positive I saw him. It must have been a dream!!! But I was excited because we had an Easter tree and everything so it was kinda like seeing Santa Claus...

Have a happy Easter!

My favorite Easter memory is the one where I convinced my grandfather (whose house we always had Easter at) that we should get a pinata for me and all my cousins to hit and get all of our Easter candy. No, pinatas aren't normally for Easter and we aren't even Mexican--we're Irish! But my grandfather got me a pinata anyway because that's how wonderful he was... and it actually became a tradition for years after that until the last of my cousins was too old to do it anymore.

I was raised in a different country, a communist country where Easter is not celebrated. But I was able to attend church. When I came to live here in the US it took my family several years to get used to the Easter celebrations regarding the bunnies, the eggs, the candy, etc. So, throughout my life, my Easter memories are a collection of Easter plays in church on Sundays. I also remember one year when I did voluntary work for the church office and I made the Sunday bulletin for Easter Sunday. I picked out the graphics and did the whole thing myself. I felt really good about it. So those are my favorite Easter memories.

My favorite memory is my church's Easter Egg Hunt. I will be taking my nephew Logan to the Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow, and I think I am just as excited as I was when I was younger.

My favorite Easter memory was the first year I got to hide the eggs (instead of search) at the neighborhood easter egg hunt. It was so exciting to see be behind the scenes!

When growing up my family would go to Florida for Easter. We went with my aunts and uncles and cousins one year. I was out shopping with my mother and my father was supposed to be watching the others. My Aunt and Uncle were coming back from a walk and they saw a little kid on the top of the hotel sign. My mother and I returned from shopping right around that time and were finding a parking spot for the car. Well the little kid was one of my younger brothers. My mother was so upset and angry with him but yet so relieved to see that he was ok.
I know it has not much to do with Easter itself, but it is a memory I associate with Easter due to this situation. My mother told my brother that the Easter bunny wasn't coming to visit him. Trust me you never saw a child clean up his act so fast.
This brother is now a married man with two young boys of his own.

My favorite Easter memory was waking up early (when I was in elementary school) and finding "bunny tracks" throughout the whole house (counter tops, bathroom, patio) - My mom had stayed up and made flour bunny prints for me to find...it was so much fun and of course I thought it was the easter bunny...I was thrilled!

My favorite Easter memory still happens every year. My mom throws a huge Easter egg hunt for my family and any friends who join us. There are always tons of eggs including the silver and gold eggs which have extra special prizes in them! I'm 25 years old and still am looking forward to the hunt on Sunday- maybe this year I'll win! :)

Darn it not quick enough, but my favorite memory is taking my daughter to her first egg hunt. She didn't know what to think of it, and ended up sitting by the first egg I plopped her down by and putting it in her mouth. Didn't get any more, but loved the one for months.

That's so sad! :( Poor things! But it's kinda funny! Sounds like something my twin sister and I have done! I know it's too late for the drawing but I will leave a memory anyway because yours was too cute! My favorite Easter was the first Easter I had with my baby girl Emily. She was so beautiful in her pink Feltman Bros. dress and my dad wanted to make it special for her so he bought a white rabbit and gave it to her Easter morning! She looked so cute taking pictures with that bunny! I remember it like it was yesterday! :) Hope you have a very blessed Easter! :)

ooo, just a little too late. Dang! But I have to say that last year my twins were finally old enough to 'hunt' for Easter eggs, and it was SO fun! I love watching kids discover new things. We have already had an Easter egg hunt this week, and my twins kept saying.. "Mom! Why you leavin' these eggs all ober the place!? Hafa clean em up!"
LOL. It only took ONE egg opening, to reveal colorful chocolate candy... and THEN they remembered what was REALLY going on. Emberly actually said to me... "Mom. I lub Easser. And when Dad puts a chok-ate candy in my red egg." (the egg was green) ha! Kids are great.

We have about 30 acres of woods that my family loves to hide eggs in. My aunt had just gotten married and this was her husband's first easter with us. He was from a certain city in TX and not very familiar with 1. how intense Easter hunts are here, and 2. woods and wildlife. My Grandparents told the husband stories about brown bear attacks the night before the Easter hunt. They then proceeded to rent my Dad a bear costume and have him hide in the woods during the Easter hunt. New husband got quite a surprise.
